The drawing and expression rules required to participate in the "XONE DESIGN COMPETITION" are listed below:

Application

a. The terms and conditions of the Competition, the conditions of entry and all documents relating to the competition can be found on the website "www.xonedesign.com". To apply for the competition, you must complete the form on the website. You can first fill in the application form and then A1 layouts with technical drawings, details, renderings and explanations, as well as the explanation text can be submitted until the deadline of 28 February 2022, Monday, at 00:00. Or they may be submitted simultaneously.

b. After reading the "XONE DESIGN COMPETITION CONDITIONS" available on the website, all participants can enter the competition by completing and uploading the application documents below via the website (www.xonedesign.com):

• Identity Information Form (Application Document 1)
• Commitment Letter (Application Document 2)
• Student Certificate (Application Document 3) (Important: It must be valid as of the project submission date.)
• Passport Photo (Application Document 4)

c. The applicants should submit their designs until the deadline (28 February 2022, Monday, at 0:00 ) It must be (300 dpi, 24 Bit color depth and JPEG format) on a white background, horizontal A2 size, maximum 3 MB, have a specified file name as the nickname of the project and sent to xonedesign@xonedesign.com. The submission can be made through file transfer programs. 

As shown in the example below, a nickname consisting of three letters and five numbers and category information will be written on the upper part of this horizontal layout to be used, with a minimum of 300 and a maximum of 500 words in each language, with the explanation text of the design in the desired presentation technique, in both Turkish and English. The explanation text should include the export potential of the design, innovation, difference, functionality, aesthetics, contribution to the user and the environment, health and safety, manufacturability and sustainability. The nickname information should not reveal or evoke the identity of the participant, and anonymous fiction should be preferred. (Ex. Ali12345 wrong combination, x1y2z378 correct combination. It is given for example purposes.)

Submission

1. Documents required to be submitted
   • In the setup mentioned above, max. 3 layouts must be submitted.
   • Plans, sections and elevations (1/20 and/or 1/10 and/or 1/5 scales) (The competitor will prepare the drawings at the scale that can best describe their designs according to their dimensions.)
   • Details (1/10 and/or 1/5 and/or 1/1 scale)
   • 3D rendering, perspectives and/or highlighted perspectives
   • Short explanations about the project and related to the visuals
   • Preparing animation videos to explain designs / products. Animation video should be prepared in horizontal and MP4 format for a maximum of 1 minute. There should not be any sound, image or text revealing the identity of the competitor.
   • Design description in .doc or .docx format.
   • Information Form of The Law on the Protection of Personal Data signed separately by team members. (The Information Form Related to the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 is attached to the conditions.)
2. It will be confirmed that the application form has been received and accepted by the award secretariat after all "Application Documents" are filled in completely, approved and uploaded to the website.
   
   
3. If there is missing information during the application on the website or a field that needs to be marked is not marked; it is not possible to automatically proceed to the next stage. Therefore, the forms related to the award must be filled in completely. Filling the application form alone is not enough. Designs that meet the technical conditions stated above must be sent to xonedesign@xonedesign.com until the deadline of 28 February 2022 Monday. Applications of those who do submit their design without filling in the application form will not be considered.
   
   
4. Contestants enter the contest, each with a maximum of 1 category. With 1 design, up to 6 designs may be entered, provided that a separate entry is made for all of them.
   
   
5. Filling the application form and uploading it to the website means that the applicants and their designs comply with the provisions of the award conditions and that the participants accept the terms of the conditions with all legal rights and responsibilities.
   
   
6. The names, contact information and identities of the participants will only be known by the award secretariat and the Association.
   
   
7. Designs to be submitted should not include any phrases or characters that may indicate the identity of the entrant, other than the nickname, category and description of the design.
   
   
8. Every designer participating in the competition allows their designs to be exhibited within the terms of this specification.
